What Is POP

POP (Post Office Protocol) refers to the one-way email software, such as Eudora, Outlook, or Macmail, used to get mail from a mail server. All email accounts on our servers can connect with POP. Our Linux servers also support IMAP, but Windows servers currently do not. We recommend using IMAP, but if you are on a Windows server you will have to use POP.
